    Hi Tobias,

We have been excited to upgrade to TablePress. We have many long tables created with WP-Table Reloaded. When we try and import we just get a white screen.

Tried both importing from wordpress (twice) and from the wp-table-reloaded dump (once). All three resulted in white screen. Following error in apache error file:

[Wed Nov 21 18:24:32 2012] [error] [client 24.20.203.81] PHP Fatal error: Cannot use string offset as an array in /app/html/wp-content/plugins/tablepress/controllers/controller-admin.php on line 1239, referer: https://www.wser.org/wp-admin/admin.php?page=tablepress_import

Please let us know how we can move forward.
    Thanks, Ian

    Hi Ian,

thanks for testing this, and sorry for the trouble.

My assumption here is, that one of your tables in WP-Table Reloaded got corrupted.
To verify this, can you look through the list of tables in WP-Table Reloaded and check if there is a table with the name “(no name)” and the description “(no description)”? That usually indicates that a table is broken, and you will only see errors when trying to edit it.

Additionally, please email me your WP-Table Reloaded Dump File. Maybe I can spot what’s wrong with its help. You can find my address in the main plugin files (either wp-table-reloaded.php or tablepress.php).

    Thanks!
    Tobias

You are correct, it looks like we had a corrupt table. We will try the upgrade tomorrow.

Thank you for all your help,
    Ian

    Hi Ian,

thanks for checking this! Please let me know how the upgrade process goes after deleting that corrupt table.

    Thanks!
