Import Error

  • Upon trying to import a WordPress WXR (WordPress eXtended RSS), I get the error “Import Upload Failed, Failed to write file to Disk.” So my main question is what directory do I need to apply Read/Write permissions (CHMOD 777) to allow WordPress to upload the file to? I currently have enabled Read/Write to the following directories

    [Root] /en-gb/
    /en-gb/wp-content/uploads/
    /en-gb/uploads/
    [/en-gb/ is the directory that WordPress has been installed in.]

    (This site is a local copy I’m using to develop a blog that I’ll be putting up on the web soon.)
