Import Emails Not Working

When importing with CSV, I always get the following message:
0 Email(s) was successfully imported.
0 Email(s) are already in our database.
0 Email(s) are invalid.
Click here to view the details
No emails are imported. I also know that my list contains duplicates and invalid emails and it shows ‘0’ for those. I’m using the plugin on a self-hosted wordpress site.
Suggestions?
