Is it possible to import a datafeed that contains products that have already been added manually – but to NOT override the manually added products.

In brief, the products added manually have more added data than the contents in the datafeed – but it is timeconsuming to update manually. BUT… if now wanting to download the products, I don’t want to lose the ones that have been added manually.

    Hi @gemini23,

Is it possible to import a datafeed that contains products that have already been added manually – but to NOT override the manually added products.

If you use a “New Items” import, the import won’t update the manually added products. However, you’d need to either add a filter to remove the manually added products from the feed, or use a snippet like this one to prevent them from being duplicated.

Alternatively, if you’re not importing variable products, you could use an “Existing Items” import and use the “Choose which data to update” option in the import settings to choose which parts of the existing products should be updated.

You can learn more about the import types and how to use them here: https://www.wpallimport.com/documentation/import-types/.
