Import database from Kentico to WordPress?

We’re currently running an outdated version of Kentico as the CMS for our site and would like to be able to use WordPress instead. Is the best way to keep all our existing information, to export the current database and import to WordPress? I don’t think it would be compatible, but don’t know where to look for a reputable source for information on how to make the transition. Help!
