Import Data into sidebar widget?

You can do this by using our ‘pmxi_saved_post’ hook ( https://www.wpallimport.com/documentation/advanced/action-reference/ ). Here’s what you’ll want to do:

– Store the widget text in the Custom Fields section of the import. You’ll want to define a field like ‘my_widget_text’ and put the element from your feed that contains the text as the value.

– In the function that’s fired by the ‘pmxi_saved_post’ hook you can use get_post_meta() on the ‘my_widget_text’ field, then update the widget
