    If I export the ymm data, edit the csv and then import will the import update existing data where the SKU matches? what is the correct process for ONLY updating existing data not removing?

    Hello,

    By default it only adds new values. It does not delete any of the existing data.

    If you check the “delete existing values” checkbox then it will delete all the existing data and will import the new data from your csv file.

    just to confirm – if I download the csv and edit only make and model for one existing sku in the csv then import it will that only update the one record changed since I left all the others alone?

    Hello,

    By default it does not delete or overwrite the existing values.

    So if I you edit one model and then import just it then the result will be wrong.
    Your product will have both – old and the new value.

    So if you want to correct one value you should export all values.
    Then find and correct the one.
    Then import the entire file with all values with the “delete existing values” checkbox selected.
