Import CSV

Are you importing / exporting to / from another copy of Events Manager or something else?

@caimin_nwl I am not importing/exporting from another copy of Events Manager. I want to import just new data.

@saurabh Jain Do you have any csv file you can share? I’ve tried to export Events data (to look up the structure) but the WP CSV plugin keeps saying that I have no data to export.
Perhaps you can help me with that?

@kadir Kara – Are you on localhost? If yes then it won’t work on localhost

@saurabh Jain No, unfortunately not. I’m working on a server.

@kadir Kara – In your Dashboard go to Tools >> WP CSV >> Select Post Type Filter (to any1 you want to export) >> Select Save and Goto Import/Export >> Export. Before doing that please make sure you have data in the field you want to export.

@saurabh Jain I’m afraid to say that I did that but with no result. I have a htpsswd set up and disabled it but also with no result. The normal export tool works but does not give me the structure I need.

I have two articles and one event but the plugin keeps saying I have no data to export…

@kadir Kara – try to export all data in Post Type Filter.

@saurabh Jain I tried but nothing happens. Adding a new post and then trying to export doesn’t work, too.

I really have no clue what causes this problem. :/

@kadir Kara – Deactivate other plugin and try again. May be other plugin will be clashing it.

@saurabh Jain – I deactivated all Import Plugins but with no effect. Seems that I have to import them myself… but thanks for the help!

@kadir – did you checked permission of folder thing

@saurabh Jain – now I gave the whole plugins folder 777. No result.

@kadir – You should ask in WP-CSV plugin support. That plugin worked for me well, I’m thinking why its giving error to you
