Import content as custom posts

  • WP-o-Matic works excellently for importing content as the basic WordPress posts and it already has an option to specify to which category should the imported posts be tagged in and under which author name.

    Would it be possible to have an option to specify the post type as well, allowing for importing content as custom post types?

    This is a great idea, glad that rrauch is up in this thread.

    I was wondering if there is a way to add a mp3 player? I import podcasts and want to be able to play them right on the page. At this point I have added some code and it now shows the podcast but it links to the site it came from.

    Any ideas?

    Another suggestion would be to have a way to give the imported posts a preset featured image, for example you would have a way to use a image you upload to your site as that imported image.
