Import contacts not working

    I have a CSV file of nearly 4000 names. I know they won’t all go in as I have the free version.

    What I don’t understand is why only 199 went in. And those all seem to be folks who were already in there on another list, so when I sort the list, they show as being on both.

    I had room for about 1100 names. None were marked ‘unconfirmed’ (I’ve since turned off the Signup Confirmation). There was no error message.

    How do I figure out what went wrong?

    Really sorry for the late reply, we’ve been very busy.

    Did you split off 1100 names and try to import them, or did you try to import all 4000? If you tried the 1100 then let us know and we’ll try to assist you further.

    I’ve tried with small groups of 450 to no avail.

    I’m also having a similar issue where uploading a list of 976 email addresses only imports 599 of them.

    Let me know if a solution is found for your issue and I’ll give it a try and vice versa.

    maybe because the server’s php time out or cut off after some time. so you may need to either set php timeout to be longer or get your server admin to do the settings.

    @hwongcom is right! Talk to your host support and ask them to increase your PHP variable “max_execution_time” to “300” at least. This should fix the issue.
