Import complete posts from MSN Live spaces “RSS Question”

    Hello there

    I have a Space in Live spaces from long , from few weeks I decided to import it to my main blog “wordpress” , of course there is no direct way to import the space ,like other plateforms , yet I used the way of importing RSS mentioned in the forums here ,it was useful but I found several problems

    I couldn’t import a single comment nor I Could import the rest of space posts , the last date I could import was from three months ago, while I started the space from two years

    Can I import them ? or I can’t ?

    p.s :By the way I wish that Importing MSN spaces would be integrated in the new wordpress 2.1 or even three

    There are no solutions because MSN spaces does not have any sort of API or way to access their data. It would be easy to write code to import any format, but MSN has no way to actually *get* the data.

    You can use the RSS feed importer to get your latest 20 or so posts (however many are in that feed). But the rest are impossible to export, as far as I can tell.

    You can try my small python script
    It would take a little effort to use that, but it is a solution ??

    I updated it, now it supports both posts and comments, as long as you have permission to upload a php file to the destination blog
