  • You may want to give the import another try:

    It won’t re-imort:
“Nothing was imported. Had you already imported this blog?”

I used the “Clear account information” button first.

I did the following, but I didn’t have any special formatting – might be worth a try:

Convert your blogger atom feed to RSS using the following site:
    https://atom2rss.semiologic.com/

I followed the 3rd step to import the RSS feed using the following plug-in:

Nope. Cannot make it work. The instruction mentions a Submit button but I can not see one. I am on MacOS – might that be a problem? With Safari I get a RSS feed on the browser (25 postings – there is 77) but how to save to disk? On Firefox I am able to save on disk but it is a xhtml-file of only 135Kb so definitely not containing all the content of the blog. With Chrome no luck at all.

    Any further ideas?

I have been experiencing the same issues. Not matter what I try it wont read anything off of blogger. Fortunately I have an xml file on my HDD but wp is not giving me the option to upload an xml. I did try a plugin (intense something or other) and that did not work either.
Now I am tired and annoyed and going to bed in the hope that in the morning there will be some explanation that makes sense to a novice like me.

There was a problem opening a connection to Blogger. This is what went wrong:

php_network_getaddresses: getaddrinfo failed: No such host is known. (0)

    Could not connect to blog.bozemanreia.com

What I just did was that I installed “Blogger To WordPress Redirection” plugin and then tried to import again. For whatever reason now it worked and also images etc were imported.

nope….same deal with PHP error for me

Ok…..as is usually the case the issue was with me. I had the settings screwed up on my blogger site which i hastily corrected. Now it works fine.
What I had done was had wp essentially looking up the wrong url.
    Hope this helps.
    Cheers,

I was cheering too early. It worked only once. Now with the next imports it is again failing me. I have no idea why it worked once.
