Import and Export Secondary Images

    I exported my products to an xls file. Several of the products have multiple images, but only the main image URL is listed in the xls file. None of the secondard image URL’s appear. Is this a bug?

    The more important question for me is how to import products with multiple images. Does this work? If so, how do I do it?

  • Hi hdscarbro,

    Adding one link at a time to all of your products would be a tedious work. Instead, you may simply upload your xls file. When you go into a product’s editing page, you can actually batch upload the additional pictures if they are already within your WordPress Media.

    We will definitely take into consideration the feature. Let us know if you have ideas about how you would like it implemented.

    This feature would be really important to have, i think about a solution like this:

    Additional columns named “Image 2” “Image 3” and so on where the number represents the second, third… image.

    So i would have to get the article with the maximum amount of images (i.e. 3) and then create 2 additional columns named “Image 2” “Image 3”.
    Then i can easily fill in the appropriate URLs for the additional images that are needed for the articles.
