    Please make this plugin use the new media manager by default. The old media uploader is very ugly, confusing and crowded as opposed to the smooth, full screen new media uploader in WP 3.5

    It’s not hard to integrate it and remain backward compatible at the same time. WordPress makes it easy for plugins to do that.

    Can we expect this soon?

    Thanks for the update, Muhammad. However, I am now unable to upload any images at all; clicking the Upload/Add image button just refreshes the page, whether in quick edit mode or from within the term page.

    Something’s wrong with the uploader.

    I already tested it on both old and new version of wordpress, I mean the old and new WordPress media uploader.

    What about try it on a fresh wordpress instillation ? please keep me updated I want to make sure that everything is working perfectly!

    Yep, tested on a fresh installation of WordPress with default theme and no plugins. Still unable to upload images, the upload modal just won’t come up no matter what I do :/

    …a bit off-topic, but I liked the old image placeholder much better. The new one looks like a “real” image, not a placeholder. It’s very detailed and can be a bit distracting, IMO.

    about the plugin I had done the same and everything work so fine, I really don’t know what is wrong with yours, try to press the upload button and:
    – if you use firefox press ctrl+alt+j choose errors and print screen any errors appears there.
    – if you use chrome press F12 and choose console and print screen any errors appears there.
    send me this screenshot and I will try to figure out what goes wrong with you.

    About the placeholder image no problem I can get it back in the next update.

    waiting for your reply ..

    I get this error in my console: ReferenceError: event is not defined.
    When checking the specified event, it appeared to be at line 96 in the categories-images.php file where it says event.preventDefault();
