Implement archive into site's design

I have got this far with my diary page
https://www.fortherestless.com/diary.php

When I hit the archive pages, not only the menu is gone (based on javascript), but also the collapsing function is missing.

Now on the diary page I call for the database with the posts, so menu
and javascripts are in the head section of diary.php

Can anyone tell me how to implement this in the archive ?
Tried adding it to the header, but then the menu shows twice on the diary.php so that’s no go for me.
