Immediately turned off by design and notifications in admin panel

  • Maybe this is a great plugin but as soon as I installed it and went to create a popup, a giant notification is on top of the page asking for a review. First of all, I hadn’t even created a pop-up. Second of all, it was huge (I can ignore a certain size). Third of all, I wasn’t able to click “Maybe later” and the “Don’t show this again” link was also disabled.

    Then I go to create a popup and the interface looks almost broken. Why this is so well rated I don’t know. Anyways, I had also installed a WPMU plugin and was more interested in trying theirs out since they are a company I trust (Hummingbird and Smush are great).

    When I went to the plugin page to disable this plugin, there is ANOTHER notification for “a free gift”. It’s just a shameless plugin and if it’s rendering all this **** on the back-end, it must surely be slowing down users of this plugin’s sites.

    We are sorry for your bad experience, but the issues you mentioned are fixed in the latest update (3.44) of our plugin which was made 16 hours ago.

    Please, make sure you have the updated version of our plugin on your site.

    The “Maybe later” and “I already did” buttons are closing the banner, so it’s easy to close. Something has gone wrong in your particular case if you weren’t able to close it.

    The banner you have seen for a “Pick a gift solution” includes other options like, Contact, Submit a ticket, etc.

    Anyway, we are going to edit it in our upcoming updates, it’s in the process.
    But you can close it and even choose “Don’t show again” if you don’t want to see it ever again.

    The banners do not slow the website speed, they are light-weighted and easy to escape.
