Immediately dismiss consent bar

  • Is it possible to immediately dismiss the consent pop up bar when the user clicks the agree button? Some sites with few users take a second or two to dismiss the bar, but its taking much longer to dismiss on other sites with higher volume and its causing confusion as to why the bar isn’t going away when clicked.

    The number of users makes no difference. The issue here is the server response time for the agreement request.

    I didn’t think we needed a loading indicator over there but from what you are saying we apparently do.

    I can’t hide the bar before the request finishes because if the user moves to a different page before the request finishes, it will load the bar again on the next page, which will cause even more confusion.
