    One more issue I’m noticing:

When I try to insert html into a text block by clicking on the Source code < > button I’m not able to insert images using the tag. After inserting the tag and clicking OK, the code appears to disappear and not display anything.

Any ideas what may be happening here?

    Thanks for the support.

    Hi @jasnon

The MailPoet designer does not allow image tags to be added to text blocks through HTML code. This is done to ensure the proper rendering of the images when they are added through our own image tool. There’s a huge chance for our users to break the newsletter display in various email clients because they won’t probably add the styles required for compatibility purposes. Here’s an example of an IMG tag added through our own tool with the styles required to support different email clients:

If you still want to insert an IMG tag by yourself, we suggest you do that through a custom shortcode: https://docs.mailpoet.com/article/160-create-your-own-custom-shortcode

Ended up using a custom short code to solve this, thanks for the suggestion!
