Hehe skedoozy, thats because of the .phps file… https://www.rummanddan.dk/files/RumCategory.php.txt grap this content and remove the .txt in the file name ??

That fixed it. Thanks. I had just converted the phps to php and that caused the problem. Thanks again for all your hard work.

I’ve got this plugin up and running (very nice, thank you) but my other quicktags have stopped working.

any idea on how to solve that?

guys, i installed the script, works fine, but still dont know how to make my page, like

    https://rummanddan.dk/movie-collection/ any ideas?

ive a problem guys. well everything okay but instead of the posters, mine has text, the titles of the movies, nowhere are the posters and ive made a folder in wp-content, called rummovies ?? see https://justshannen.com/dokimastiko/?page_id=4

I’ve installed both the rumcategory and rummovie plugins. The IMDB button shows up in admin, pressing it brings up the search window from IMDB, entering the movie title brings up a list of movies but clicking on the movie you want closes the window and when I look at the post, nothing is different– nothing is imported from IMDB.

I am running most recent update of WP. Please Help! I really want this functionality.

Continued from last post: I also have the update of the RumMovie Plugin.

I’m having trouble with the RumMovie plugin. I haven’t clicked on the IMDB button in any of my WP blogs in awhile, but went to do so tonight and when I clicked on the IMDB button, the search popup appeared. I keyed in a movie to search and when I clicked the SEARCH button, I got this error:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: socket_create() in /home/.bass/jmueller/babygotblog.com/wp-content/plugins/RumLib/httpclient.php on line 59

I checked in my husband’s blog and the plugin isn’t working there either, but with different results. He can click on IMDB and do a search, but no matter what movie you put it, it returns no movie data. At least he’s getting something besides an error page.

I have to say that the difference between my and my husband’s blog is I’m at dreamhost.com and he’s at surpasshosting.com.

Thanks for any assistance. I’ve tried deactivating and uninstalling and reinstalling the latest version, still same problems on each blog.

Further, and possibly related, my AMM (Amazon Media Manager) plugin returns no search results either. Odd.

BUT my ChaitGear CGA plugin returns amazon.com search results just fine and dandy.

RumMovie plugin is still choking and giving this error:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: socket_create() in /home/.bass/jmueller/babygotblog.com/wp-content/plugins/RumLib/httpclient.php on line 59

RumMovie gives this error message AFTER you key in a search term.

Any thoughts? While my web host has disabled fopen(), it does have cURL enabled.

I just tried this (also on Dreamhost) and got the same result. A search on the Dreamhost forums turned up this thread, which suggests that the socket_create function is disabled. Other plugins are presumably[1] using different methods to query external sources.

[1] I’m not a developer, so my reading of PHP code isn’t anywhere near good enough to know for sure
