IMAP for PHP needs enabling

  • I have nearly completed setting up ALO Easymail Newsletters but I have an error message:

    ‘PHP IMAP extension was not detected.
    This plugin feature can not work now. Ask your hosting provider to enable IMAP for PHP’.

    My hosting provider says it is up and running, can anyone help please.
