I don’t understand why but when I activate nextgen, the photos in the galleries of the Modula plugin, are not displayed correctly (the resolution, square images stay square and are not extended). Can you tell me how can I do to exclude the photos in the galleries of this plugin?

    Hi,

    Thank you for your message.

The issue is likely due to the WebP display option using picture tags. Please try the following:

    1. Deactivate the WebP display option in Settings > Imagify.
    2. Clear all caches.

If this resolves the issue, consider using the rewrite rules method for WebP images in Settings > Imagify unless you’re using a CDN like Cloudflare.

Let me know how it goes.

    Thank you for your response,
Yes, obviously without that functionality the problem is not there. I would like to understand how to do that. Isn’t there a possibility for example to ignore photos from a certain plugin or that use a certain shortcode? I mean a way to be able to use this webp functionality bypassing the photos in the galleries? thanks!

I use NGINX and Cloudflare, so rewrite is not possible to use and I don’t think this is enough. it is a problem related to resizing images in picture/webp format.

    Hey @ilithio,

If you’re good with coding, you can try this helper plugin as it would allow you to skip delivering WebP to images with specific class (you have to define it in the code) –?https://github.com/wp-media/imagify-helpers/tree/master/webp/imagify-skip-picture-tag-replacement.

    Hope this helps.

    Best Regards,
