imagick on CentOS 8

What is the downside to not having imagick for WP? (I’m very new to WP.)

Maybe I’ll see if I can get imagick working on CentOS 8 Stream and then move my WP sites over to it.

As long as you have the GD libraries installed, there’s no problem if the PHP imagemagick libs aren’t there.

Noted. php-gd is installed and WP is only complaining about missing imagick. ??
