imagesin media library not showing on website

    I reinstalled wordpress, uploaded content inc images, forgot to upload the database and used a new one instead. Once I uploaded and switched to the correct database images then appeared in Media Library. However the images do not appear on website although they show in editor. I can find the image in the library and add it but it does still does not appear on the website.

    By the way I can add images from an external website.

    I just noticed that on some posts I can click on the link to the image and it will appear.

    We’ll I’ll be. Just happened to read a post where someone said the problem sounded like a Jetpack conflict. I’d just run Health Check and have had jet pack for quite some time. I disabled it and the images are back, at least as far as I have checked.
