images/files not showing on front end

I am hoping to use this plugin to create a custom post type where the “post” consist only of a pdf file. I have made a custom post type “notices” and then I made a “post field group” for notices, which has only a file upload on it.

In the back end this looks great, the post type “notices” shows in the side menu, creating a post shows you just the title and a file upload box, and nothing else, which is perfect.

However, when I upload a file and save the post, only the title shows on the front end, with no file.

I am not sure if this is template issue or a pro feature only or something else, any help would be really great, thanks.
