Images won’t upload

  • Hi,

    I am getting the following error message.

    Failed to load plugin: wpgallery from url https://lisakoubou.com/wp-includes/js/tinymce/plugins/wpgallery/plugin.min.js

    This has resulted in me unable to upload any images via the post nor by directly adding to the media Library.

    PLEASE READ THE STEPS I HAVE TAKEN BELOW

    I have

    1. deactived ALL plugins
    2.changed the theme to wp 2017
    3.there is no caching on this site
    4. reset caching on browser
    5. re uploaded a new version of wordpress via FTP
    6. re uploaded a fresh copy of the theme
    7. made sure the permissions were correct for the uploads folders.
    8.move all plugins to a plugins2 folder

  • Hi Lisa,

    Check if you see anything strange in any .htaccess in http: /wp-includes/js/tinymce/plugins/wpgallery/ or any parent directory.

    Also check that this file, in fact, is there in the correct position. If not, download a fresh copy of WordPress to your local computer, unzip it and upload the file via ftp to the correct position.

    Thanks @tobifjellner. I will check the .htaccess files. I already grabbed a fresh copy of the wordpress files and uploaded everything but the wp-content folder via FTP.
