Images won’t preview in post editor but display in post

  • I help run a college journalism website. It’s a self-hosted multi-site and the following issue only seems to be appearing on one of the many sites we have.

    As of yesterday afternoon, images added in post editor will not appear in post editor or in the media library gallery. They appear, in visual/post editor, as broken links in Edge/Firefox and blank spaces in Chrome. However, the image URL work just fine and they display properly in preview and in the post once published.

    I’m super admin and can see images in post editor/gallery no problem, but admin and custom users cannot (as far as I can tell).

    I’ve deactivated plugins, updated everything and ran health check.

    Any ideas?

  • It’s a looks fine on the browsers. The images do appear. Have you date the new wordpress platform? If so, then the update you make screw the some things. It’s best to reinstall the platform
