• Hello

I’m in the process of cobbling a new site together and it’s the first time I’ve ever tried. Unsurprisingly, I am running into problems at almost every hurdle, and so far, thanks to answers on pre-existing threads, I’ve been able to solve them. However, it seems that this latest one only effects me…

My issue is with images. Each time I insert one with a caption it blows up to an enormous size and completely covers my sidebar on the site. If I remove the caption it’s fine. I really don’t think that re-sizing each image with a caption is the way of solving this. I installed the ‘fiximagecaption’ plugin in the hope that that would but nothing has changed.

    Hope someone can help!

  • What theme are you using?

If you mean in the Dashboard visual editor, it’s a bug and will be fixed soon.

If you mean on your site, try deactivating all plugins and switching to the default theme to see if it’s a plugin or theme-specific problem.

I’m using BulletPress by HB Themes. These images appear large in the Dashboard visual editor and on the site itself.

If I switch to the default theme temporarily will everything be automatically saved in my premium theme?

You should be able to change themes without losing theme options/settings – those are saved in the database.
