    Em,

What are you doing to delete images?

The only thing that works it to upload another in admin to overwrite the original. Other than that I’m deleting them directly from the server.

But an ‘x’ to delete them in admin (front and backend) would be perfect as members want to delete aswell as admins ??

    Em,

    I see. Good feature idea.

Question: if you delete it from the server, does the default image them show up in it’s place? It should…and you should be able to hide it with CSS.

No – although the default image is already hidden via CSS.

If you look on https://abcast.co.uk/index.php/artiste/?pdb=1702 – where there are 4 images, you’ll see a missing image/css-border as the fifth!

    Em,

OK, I see the problem. The image file is stored in the database as an absolute path (that is it has the complete URL to the image file) rather than just the filename. I am going to create a way to deal with this in the next release, but in your case, if you really want the image file to be gone, the reference to it has to be deleted from the database as well.

I have found a solution – simply upload the default (absent) image and have that hidden in CSS. Annoying, but I can wait for the next release ??

    Em
