I understand the issue you are facing, however, this is not related to WCPT but your site settings and the ‘image size’ that you are selecting. Let me explain –
When you upload an image for a product WordPress takes that image and crops it into different sizes. For example – Thumbnail, Medium, Large, Full.
WordPress does this so that your site can load different size images in different locations depending on the context, instead of always loading the full size image. This improves page load speed.
In WCPT when you create a product image element, you can use the ‘Select image file size’ option to select the correct image size that is appropriate for your context. Preferably pick a smaller image size for faster page load, however you need to experiment and see which image size has the right cropping based on your needs.
You can also search for WordPress image size plugins that are going to help you create new custom image sizes that are appripriate for your needs. WCPT will list these custom image size options as well once you have created them.
