Images wider than the text?

Hi there,

Any chance you can link me to a page with an image you’re wanting to overhang? It would help to be able to play with the CSS in developer tools.

Yeah, sure. This post has an attached image that is 1024px wide, but the column limits it to 640px:

You could move the image outside of the container, then set a width for it:

function tu_move_single_featured_image {
    remove_action('generate_before_content','generate_featured_page_header_inside_single', 10);
    add_action('generate_after_header','generate_featured_page_header_inside_single', 10);
}

Then the CSS:

.page-header-image-single {
    max-width: 800px;
    margin-left: auto;
    margin-right: auto;
}
