• Hi team,

As title says, I am able to upload images and it says it succeeds, however when I view my uploads, they’re now blank and if I view the image from the url (or FTP) it is not there.

    Please advise.

    Hi t-p,
I’ve done this – the permissions were setup correctly. For times sake I just re-applied it to 755, same thing is happening (644 for files)

    Problem is ongoing.
A new interesting tidbit, if I “Edit” the picture that’s been uploaded, I can see the picture there. But even if I make a change and press “Save” it still shows up blank, and if I try to post it to a page – it shows as though it doesn’t exist.

    Thanks,

I am still hoping to be able to get this resolved.
if anyone has any advice, or ideas, please share.

    Thanks

I had the same problem. Using AI, I exported “web (legacy)” files with spaces in the name, which made AI insert dashes for the spaces. On a hair-pulling-out-hunch of desperation, I renamed the files with underscores (replacing the dashes), and voila!

    file name.ai yields:
file-name.jpg, which doesn’t work. Renamed to:
    file_name.jpg

    Worth a shot…

To confirm, AI – Artificial Intelligence? Or, something I’m just not aware of…
Willing to try anything at this point.
Just frustrated I can see the picture when I click “Edit” — other wise I cannot, if I upload it to a page, or view it in Gallery or click on it. Only when editing.

The file is on the web server and viewable from there..

    img width=”225″ height=”300″ src=”wp-content/uploads/2022/05/Power-shed-225×300-1.jpg” alt=”” /

I can confirm this file exists in this location..

Sorry, AI as in Adobe Illustrator

    Try renaming the file Power-shed-225×300-1.jpg
    to
Power_shed_225x300_1.jpg and re-upload it. Make sure your x is the letter x, it looks different.

    I uploaded a totally different picture, it’s just 3.jpg
I also renamed the file to Power_shed_225x300_1.jpg

    The issue remains..

This worked for me. I’m sorry I couldn’t help.
