• I’ve got WP 3.6.1 and wp-cycle 0.1.13 on a 64-bit linux (Ubuntu 12.04.3 LTS). Today I uploaded a couple of images to wp-cycle. The images appeared to upload correctly, but they don’t show in the slideshow.

I’m guessing the images were too large to display properly. This would be OK, as I can easily scale the images, but there now seems to be a hiatus in the slideshow at the end of the cycle, i.e., as if wp-cycle is showing a couple of blank images. (There is a blank display for about three of the usual cycle times after the last picture in the show has displayed and before the show cycles back to the first picture.)

Is there some way to confirm/deny that wp-cycle is “displaying” the blank images? And, if it, is there a way to remove the images? They don’t appear on the usual wp-cycle Settings page, so I can’t delete them in the usual way.

    Thanks.

I’ve done some more digging, and I find messages like:

    thumbnail”;O:8:”WP_Error”:2:{s:6:”errors”;a:1:{s:15:”image_no_editor”;a:1:{i:0;s:28:”No editor could be selected.

in the wp_options table for the option with name:

    wp_cycle_images

I’m guessing that there was a change in the PHP and/or MySQL configuration on the server that caused the GD library to disappear.

I’ve added some packages to the server, and it now appears that GD support is enabled. Now I’m looking for advice as to how to purge the record of the offending images. I suppose I could just remove the entire wp_cycle_images option (using MySQL), but I’m afraid that I’ll REALLY break something if I do that. I don’t mind re-uploading the images, if that’s all that’s required.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks.
