Images upload but don't show

  • I successfully uploaded some images (jpg and png) and selected them to replace the theme placeholder images in the dashboard. However, for some reason they don’t show on the site. I even cropped the image in the exact same dimension as the placeholder. I checked with FTP and the image files are there. So I am wasting time on making JPGs appear ??

    Can this be a setting or theme specific issue? Any other idea?

    I am using the theme: Yoko 1.0.3 by Elmastudio
