Images upload but do not display in the Media Library

  • Situation: I have an install of Ubuntu 12.10 with a newly installed wordpress page located at https://interruptedsession.com/blog/ that seems to be running just fine. The issue I have however is when I go to the media library and upload an image the image does not display.

    Steps Taken So Far:
    1. I checked the folder’s permissions and they are set appropriately.
    2. The uploaded images are present when I check the directory in SSH and FTP.
    3. When I link images, that are uploaded via FTP to the server, they display just fine on the wordpress site. (As Seen in Post)
    4. When I click “Edit” under the Media Library on the photo it displays fine.

    Help would be greatly appreciated, for now I am just going to manually upload images.
