Images to show within posts within categories…

Hi all!

I have a problem – I have customised by wordpress site layout and I am relying on the category pages to be main featured pages within my site – the problem is – when I write a new post and include an embedded image – the image will show within the post (as it should) but never on the category page…

It seems, by default, that my wordpress is striping images out of posts as long as they are being viewed within a category. So for example: https://sitename.com/category/latest-news would show all posts within that category but in my case – any images in those posts would not appear.

Please help!! ??
