Images sizes in post

  • I am having issues with the size of my images in post being square instead of 800 x 500.

  • The only image on the page is 240 x0 172 pixels. I can tell that it’s t’s been chosen at that size because the URL of the image includes the dimensions which means that it’s a thumbnail size that WordPress has created.

    When you add the image to your post, check what size you have set. That will determine what size you end up with in your posts.

    i just created a new post all images are coming out 1:1 and cropping the image. In the media window where i pick it is 800 x 500. I did not publish because it looks bad
