• Hi there,

I’m really impressed with the Astra theme—it’s fantastic! However, I’ve just find out an issue with how my website’s images are displayed on very large screens (22″ to 27″; I haven’t tested larger screens). The problem is that the images are being horizontally shrunk, resulting in long, thin images with faces cut off when viewed in portrait mode.

I tried adding a CSS rule for larger screens, but it didn’t seem to make any difference. I would greatly appreciate any assistance you can offer on this.

    Thanks a bunch!

PS I suspect this is not the image the problem but rather the width of the website/container or something like that…

  • Hi @romain22,

This is a screenshot showing how your site looks on my end. Does it look correct for you? FYI, I have 24″ screen monitor with 1920 x 1080 resolution.

Apart from that, I can see you are using Elementor to build the page, so pretty sure it’s more related to it.

I look forward to hearing from you.

    Kind regards,
    Herman ??

    Hi Herman,

Thank you for your prompt response. The screenshot looks good on most screens, but when viewed on very wide monitors, the images become smaller and the photo with the two people is cut off on either side, showing only half of their faces.

    Thanks again,

    Romain

    Hi @romain22,

You might want to check using a default WordPress theme and check if you can see the same behavior. As I previously mentioned, if Elementor is used, pretty sure it’s on them as Elementor is responsible to the responsiveness.

    Kind regards,
    Herman ??
