Images Showing on WebServer

  • Hi all,

    I currently am in Test mode at the moment want to create a Wiki Site using WordPress, when i add images into onto the site they show on the web server, but when i go into a different PC and type in the IP address of the Web Server the page loads up but without the pictures.

    i change the Localhost to my Webserver IP address inside WordPress.

    which allows me to access the site from any device within the network. but not showing the images.

  • I think your problem is because you tried to change the address after you do the post or page, wordpress put the reference of the image direct in you code, if you use localhost, you will have <img src="localhost..... so went you try to access via ip address you not will see the image because the url img will be “localhost/image.jpg” not the “ip/image.jpg” so change the address in of the image, remake the post or page and you will see the image from the webserver ip
