Images Randomly Deleted From Media Library

  • As per the title. This has happened several times randomly on different sites.

    1: What could cause this?

    2: How I can I fix this quickly without having to reupload every image?

    Typically, I won’t find out until it’s too late – there aren’t enough hosting backups on file to get me back to the point where they weren’t deleted.

  • There isn’t much information, but I’m guessing a plugin might cause it. Could you share the common plugin list for the sites that have this issue? You could also try disabling some of them and see if the problem still exists.
