Images on homepage too small after importing site
-
Ok so I just finished importing my site from WordPress.com to .org. You can view it here.
I’m using the Hatch theme for now. My main page originally had two large sized images centered on the screen but after I imported my site (using the WordPress Importer Plugin and an XML file) these two images now sit off to the left and are too small. No matter what I do I cannot get these images to be in the correct size and sitting centered. What’s even more confusing is that it appears that these images are also stuck in some sort of table that I never created. This table is very small itself so it looks like it’s even cutting the bottom off of my bottom image. When I am editing the page everything seems fine, WordPress tells me that the image will display at its original size (1200 x 436).
Could there have been a problem with my importing of the site? It feels like there is some underlying code that is keeping me from getting my homepage back…I don’t have this problem with any of my other pages and I’ve tried re-installing the theme already. I also made sure that my page attributes are set to the “full page width.” It’s also good to point out here that none of my widgets got imported either.
Can anyone help I would greatly appreciate it.
