Images Not Uploading Properly

So I’m trying to upload a new image to a blog post I’m working on and I go to upload it and it doesn’t show the thumbnail image there and when I hit “insert” it there is this thing that almost looks like a broken image except it doesn’t have the red “x”…it’s a very small box with an image that looks like something is broken. if I go to preview the post I just see white blank space.

In the media library all the previous images I have uploaded are shown in there. I tried to also upload something that I had already uploaded last week (to make sure it wasn’t a problem with the image) and had worked fine but now it’s not working.
