Images not uploading plus, page editor button loading empty popup

Hello,

I have the same common problem like others do:

When uploading images to Nextgen Gallery first image goes to 100% and after 3 min(from what I have seen in error logs, this is my Maximum execution time for PHP – logs below) displays yellow triangle with exclamation mark (checking it with Chrome Inspection tools – it says “HTTP Error”), then it continues with next photo and the process repeats.

What’s wierd, is that everytime after error NextGen Gallery creates new gallery with the same title.

The 2nd problem is that in visual editor after clicking Gallery button, is loading for 3 min (PHP execution time limit) it displays default gallery settings tabs (Select a display type, What would you like to display?, Customize the display settings, Sort or Exclude Images), but they are empty.

WordPress is version 4.0

– NextGEN up to date?

Yes, version 2.0.66.29

– What version of NextGEN Gallery did you upgrade from? (i.e. I had 1.9.13, then upgraded to 2.0.61)

I didn’t upgrade, it’s first-time fresh plugin install.

My hosting company confirmed those specs:
– MySQL up to date (at least 5.0)?

Yes, version 5.1.66

– PHP up to date (at least 5.2.4)?

Yes, version 5.3.24

– The mod_rewrite Apache module activated?

It’s confirmed that mod_rewrite is active

– PHP Safe Mode OFF?

Safe Mode is disabled

– Which plugins do you have installed and activated?

I have few plugins installed, but currently I only use “Disable Comments” v. 1.1 and “Toggle wpautop” v. 1.1.1

– Does this error still occur if you switch your theme to a WordPress Twenty series theme and deactivate all plugins except NextGEN Gallery? (please be sure to clear your browser cache and reload your site after deactivating)

I’ve tried disabling all plugins and switching to Twenty Fourteen theme plus clearing browser cache but it doesn’t help.

In addition I’ve checked above problems by using IE10 instead of Chrome, but problems still occur.
