Images not uploading

  • I just don’t understand it. Every day — for hours at a time — I get error messages when I try to upload images to individual blog posts. I’m so frustrated right now, and I hate to hear anything tech- or code-driven. I just don’t understand how a major blog platform keeps having this problem. Whatever. I’m so angry.

  • What are the error messages? What, exactly, are you doing when you upload your images?

    And a note – if you “hate to hear anything tech- or code-driven,” you may not be able to resolve your issue. Please remember that WordPress is FREE software, supported by VOLUNTEERS.

    Thank you all. That’s exactly the problem…it simply goes down for hours at a time. Then it works. No reason, no warning. And I’m just doing the basics — what any blogger does. It works much of the time, so I know I’m doing it right. I simply upload an image from my computer, and it then says FAILED TO WRITE or whatever.

    Let’s consider it closed for now, as it is working. But the issue is that it simply goes down much of the time for many consecutive hours. And as for code or tech, etc…I’m sorry, but I often find — as helpful as this forum is — many times, the answers are too difficult for people to understand who are non-tech people. And since WORDPRESS is a basic blog platform, things shouldn’t be that difficult, in my opinion. I understand where the help is coming from, so I get it…but it’s frustrating to people who don’t know code. Nothing personal…I was just frustrated today.
