Images not uploading!

  • I have a big problem uploading images, they wont! When I upload them they are just an ‘x’ in a white box. I have tried everything to try and remedy this, I have,
    1. Reinstalled wordpress and the theme
    2. Changed the database
    3. Worked on a different computer
    4. Changed the permmisions on my upload file to 755
    5. Changed theme to the default theme and still no images upload.
    6. I have no active plugins
    7. Checked with another wordpress site that I have to see if I am able to upload images on it and I am
    8. I have tried different image types, but nothing!
    9. Tried different browsers, but nothing!

    If someone can help me I would be very grateful, I am getting frustrated.
