Images not shown up on Media Library

  • Hi all,

    Images upload vis FTP(FileZilla) to /wp-content/uploads/yr/month/ are NOT displayed on Media Library. However they work on links of page. I must add image via “Add Media” -> “Upload File” then the image is displayed on Media Library as well as on /wp-content/uploads/yr/month/ folder.

    Pls advise how to fix this problem? Thanks

    Hi Fexin,

    Thanks for your link.

    I tried it, all files on /wp-content/uploads/ upload resulting in Media Library showing some blank square boxes. I suppose the ideal solution is via Upload.
