Images Not Showing On Mobile Theme

Hi Jeremy,

I updated the theme, checked all options and I could not find anything for the Featured post to enable/disable. I’m still not showing the option under Screen Options either.

That’s weird. Do you run any other plugins that may remove the Featured Image functionality?

Could you try to deactivate all other plugins, one at a time, and let me know if Featured Images appear after deactivating one of them?

I hope that you have been well! I do not recall every seeing the Featured Image functionality for the time I have had this theme and account.

I took your advice and deactivated each plugin one by one and refreshed another tab I had open with adding a new post, and unfortunately even with all plugins deactivated I still did not see the Featured Post option.

Please let me know if you have any other suggestions and thank you again for all of your help!

Just to make sure we’re talking about the same option, are you referring to the Featured Image option, like on this screenshot?

Hi Jeremy,

Correct, I do not have the option on the side bar when adding or editing a post nor do I have the option to select a featured image from the “Screen Options” drop down at the top of the page. For the Screen Options you provided this article: https://en.support.wordpress.com/featured-images/.

I’m afraid I’m out of ideas here.

1. Your theme does support Post Thumbnails; I could confirm it on a test site of mine, it works properly. If you use an unmodified version of the theme, it will add Post Thumbnails.
2. Plugins can create conflicts and remove Post Thumbnails, but since you’ve deactivated all of them I don’t see what else could remove Post Thumbnails.

Could you contact me via this contact form and mention this thread? I’d like to run some more tests on your site.

The issue i’m having is more similar.
I noticed that my post contents image shows on desktop view but does not show on smartphones. only the featured shows.
What can i do please.

I have been on the forum for days now, i noticed that i’m having data-recalc-dims=”1″ included in my image attributes. could this be the problem?

Hi, I have a problem on my site on the following page: https://michaeldyrbergphotography.dk/salg.html
I have added 5 pictures under the name ?udl?b and they are showing up on PC’s and MAC, but not iPADS and mobile unites. It is only these 5 pictures and they should not be different than the other pics that show perfectly on all devices.
Any suggestions are welcome

Hi Jeremy –
I’ve read this thread and a few others, and am having the same problem with my featured image not showing up on mobile. Even after configuring it, it worked but the image appears twice (and I don’t have it a second time in the body of my post.)

I am not .php or sss savvy at all.

Any idea how I can resolve this? Thanks!
