Images not showing on front page posts

  • When I am writing a new post- I add a new Image(to the left) and then the text…
    Then I add the read more tag…..and under this more text.

    But the Image is not showing on the main post- but its showing on the other page when title is clicked !!!

    I have tried for ages to get this Image on the main past- but no luck !…….can any one explain to me what I am doing wrong ?
