Images not showing on front page

I’m getting some very odd behaviour on the front page of my review site.

Firefox – shows capsules of all recent reviews, but the first two rows don’t show images. Images are loaded and available on review pages. Adding a new review makes the next image (two rows down) available.

Chrome – shows all images on front page, including all recent reviews

Brave – shows all images, but does not show the two most recent reviews at all

Edge – same as Brave – all images, but not the two most recent reviews

I can’t swear that this is specifically a Recencio issue, but I don’t see it with any other sites or pages. I’m baffled as to why this happens. I’ve cleared caches, disabled add-ons, etc. with no effect
