All of my images are uploaded in the right sizes and show in my post and page drafts, but they are not showing when published. I’ve tried deactivating all plugins and redoing them, and also deleted all my images and re-uploaded them from scratch and they are still now showing. Any help is appreciated, thank you!

  • Hi. Which browser do you use when uploading the website?

    I’m using Chrome.

Did you flush the browsers cache? “Ctrl H” or “History” + Delete browsing data.

Cleared the browser cache and history in both Chrome and Safari on all of my devices. The images are still not showing on my live website. I even had a friend check from their computer, and not showing there either.

I think I may have figured it out. After scanning through a couple of dozen other older threads, someone mentioned in one thread that lazyloading was causing their problem. So I tested it out.

Turns out my theme had a lazy loading feature which was turned on and Yoast SEO premium plugin also had lazy loading turned on. Having both enabled was causing the issue. Turned one of them off and left the other on (tried vice versa) and images are showing now.

    Thx for the help!

Hi. I’m glad you found out about the solution. Lazy loading -a feature on themes with theme builders that the themes function loads objects after priorization.
Sometimes by image resolution: So If you’re images file size are much bigger than the objects of the rest of the theme. The theme prioritize the images to load at slower with the meaning to follow their prioritization list.
