    Hi there!

So my site worked perfectly fine until I updated to the newest version of WordPress. After that the images in my blog post doesn’t show. When I refresh the page, I can usually see one of the photos. And when I refresh again, and again and so on, I can see more pictures after every refresh.

The media library is working perfectly fine, when I go and see the preview of the post from editor, everything works just fine and when I open those photos with their URL’s those work as well.

So I don’t know whats happening here… I’ve deactivated many of my plugins one by one (the obvious choices) and it doesn’t help.

I’ve tried this with Chrome and Safari – both have the same problem. I have tried with two MacBook Air’s, Android phone etc. and the same problem occurs with every device.

My site used to work perfectly before this newest update and now all of a sudden I have this really annoying problem and I don’t know if it’s about the update (would be quite a coincidence if it’s not about the update) or plugins. Hopefully someone can help.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

You have a mixed content issue:

Mixed Content: The page at 'https://listafriikki.com/tiede/2010-luvulla-julkaistut-applikaatiot/' was loaded over HTTPS, but requested an insecure image 'https://listafriikki.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/Listafriikki_etusivu_testi.png'. This content should also be served over HTTPS.

Install the plugin “better search replace”. Search for https://listafriikki.com and replace with https://listafriikki.com in all tables.

Also, try clearing the autoptimize and litespeed caches.

Do you have any idea why this is happening so suddenly (after the WP update)? Everything worked normally before…

And I don’t have any idea how to use that plugin…

It’s probably not due to the update.

Should I choose every table from the list?

Yes. All tables. Make sure you uncheck the “dry run” option.

Will this fix the problem, so that I never need to do it again?

It should. At some point, you switched the site to use https, but did not do it completely.

I did it, but the same problem still exists.

    1. Did you uncheck the “dry run” checkbox?
    2. Did you clear all caches?
    3. Try disabling your caching/optimization plugins for a while.

    (@listafriikki)

Yeah, I did the parts 1 and 2 (Litespeed). Do you know how long I should keep them disapled?

Would it help if I just delete that image file you mentioned when you said about mixed content?

    (@listafriikki)

    It still doesn’t work…

Would you be able/willing to go and log in to my WP editor and check it out; maybe you’d be able to figure out if there’s some kind of other issues.

About the change from HTTP to HTTPS: I did it weeks ago and everything worked perfectly until the update, which I did few days ago.

I actually found the solution: my theme options was causing the problem. There was a Lazy load enabled in the theme options as well and it was probably causing problems with different optimization plugins.

But I truly appreciate your help Steve!

Btw. I don’t know if it’s allowed to ask another question in the same topic, but do you know why Safari doesn’t show my H2’s with the right size? It works correctly with Chrome.
